I love to travel. This is pretty obvious to anyone who knows me. I’ve lived not only in my home of the UK but also for 3 years in California. On top of this I take multiple trips every year to different destinations; both exploring new areas locally and crossing borders internationally.
One of the attractions of travel for me isn’t just experiencing the amazing people, cultures and locations for myself but sharing this experience with people. I do this through travelling with friends who I can travel with, process with and live the journey with; but I also get to share it with you all through my photography. What a joy to take the moment find a little magic to bottle and take home with me.
I’ve got a lot of different trips in the old hard drive from the last few years and I plan to feature some of these trips on the blog. First up are photos from this year’s trip to South Africa. I’ve selected some photos that express the amazing landscape, exotic wildlife & wonderful people and have separated them out into what will be three different blogs.
This trip to South Africa was my third time visiting the country. I went with a group of 17 friends and we visited Nelspruit in Kwa-Zulu Natal in the north east of the country and then spent some time in Durban on the Indian Ocean and finally in Bergville up in the Drakensberg Mountains. I hope you’ll enjoy the shots I’ve brought back.
